Emergency Appointments

We will always see you if an emergency appointment is needed.

If you require an emergency appointment during our normal opening hours, you should phone the surgery where the receptionist may ask you a few questions. You will then be given instructions on what to do next. Sometimes the receptionist will need to speak to a doctor.  You should try and phone before 10.30am if you require an appointment that day in order that we can offer you a suitable time. You may not be able to see the doctor of your choice, but we would try and arrange this where possible.

We operate an appointment system at the practice.  Please do not walk in to the surgery unless it is an emergency, please phone the surgery - 01434 220203.

Always call 999 for life threatening emergencies such as:

  • Major accident or trauma
  • Severe breathlessness
  • Severe bleeding
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Severe chest pain
